| PRODUCTION OF BIOGAS FROM ORGANIC WASTE | | Project summary | Two stage biogas productions from organic raw materials is implemented by means of raw material hydrolysis reaction, followed by microbiological methane formation. Gasholder is applied for storage. Electricity and heat are produced at cogeneration plants with a total capacity of 1500 kW. Heat is used for heating of greenhouses and for the production of dry milk.

Current stage of project implementation:
Study on the introduction of biogas plant is completed;
Technical requirements for the engineering design are at the stage of completion;
Detailed business plan is developed.
Project participants:
Project customer - "Ekoprod A.T. ", Volnovakha, Ukraine;
General designer -" Donetskagroproekt ", Donetsk, Ukraine;
Technology designer - «Agroferm»Berlin, Germany.
Expected amount of produced electricity and heat:
Electric power generation - 13000 MWh per year
Thermal energy production - 6007.5 MW per year.
Expected energy savings and economic benefits as a result of the project:
Electricity – 11.7 million kWh per year to the amount of UAH8.19 million per year
Gas for heating - 1201.5 thousand m3 to the amount of UAH 300.375 thousand
Fertilizers – 10.82 thousand tons to the amount of UAH 8.3 million.
