| WORKS FOR PRODUCTION OF HOLLOW CERAMIC BLOCKS | | Project summary | The project concerns the production of hollow ceramic blocks. Block sizes allow performing single-row brickwork, where the block length equals to the thickness of outer-layer of the wall (excluding finishing layers). One unit is more than 25 times bigger than the standard brick size. Masonry of hollow blocks is in 2.5 - 3 times faster than using a traditional brick. The advantages of single-walled hollow-block walls are: excellent thermal insulation, high construction speed, high compressive strength, durability and fire resistance, low cost, balanced humidity of the air permeability through the blocks ( 'breathing walls "), a favorable microclimate, and accumulation of heat .
